INPERSO presented at the open event of “e-CODOMH” cluster
INPERSO was presented at the event "e-CODOMH Ecosystem: Development, Know-how and Cooperation" which took place on Wednesday, November 1st, at Ritsona, Greece (MIRTEC-Thiva Branch) following the 3rd regular General Assembly of the "Cluster e-CODOMH".
The purpose of the event was to get to know, inform, and present the possibilities of cooperation between construction industry bodies and RTOs through the ecosystem of the e-CODOMH cluster and networking with larger European platforms for construction sector.
The event was attended by more than 40 people from the cluster companies and it was greeted by the Deputy Minister of Development of the Greek Government, Ms. Anna Mani-Papadimitriou, who pointed out that the effective transition of the construction sector towards sustainability can come by investing in innovation, cooperation, and human resources skills, to produce more sustainable and competitive products for construction, buildings, and infrastructure.
During the event, two research and innovation projects were presented; that is the 1st Collaborative research project of the cluster “e-CODOMH B2B” and the European research project INPERSO.
Of note was the value of innovative solutions for the energy upgrade and renovation of the buildings undertaken in the two projects, as well as the holistic approach with the integration of new materials and technologies in actual demonstration sites and the efforts aiming at accelerating their early application and entry into the market.
e-CODOMH cluster
e-CODOMH cluster for Sustainable Construction, Buildings, and Infrastructure, was founded in 2022; its members are 23 dynamic Greek enterprises from the construction sector and 8 research organizations with several laboratories working on the field. Mission of e-CODOMH is to upgrade entrepreneurship and create an added value in the Greek construction sector for Efficient and Sustainable Construction, Buildings, and Infrastructure through Quality-Innovation-Knowledge-Synergies. e-CODOMH supports a new collaborative model for businesses and research institutions to address new challenges.
