SCAN2BIM - Spanish demonstration case

INPERSO aims to showcase the numerous advantages that digital solutions bring to the design and construction processes. Among these advancements, one notable example is the utilization of scan-to-BIM technologies. By employing scanning technologies, a point cloud is generated, enabling the creation of a 3D virtual model and a Building Information Modelling (BIM) model. Scan-to-BIM allows for a more detailed analysis of the building pre-renovation and speeds up the BIM modelling process, also ensuring a higher accuracy.

On May 11th, the Italian partner R2M, with the support of the local partners AUMSA, UPV and IVE, performed the scan of the Spanish pilot in Valencia, a social housing complex that will undergo renovation by using the INPERSO innovation technologies.
